Description
This planning meeting was organized by historians Kathy Smith and Marya McQuirter as an effort to get Shaw residents involved in the creation of the community's history exhibit at the then-planned Thurgood Marshall Center for Heritage and Service.
The participants shared memories and raised theoretical concerns about the goals of community history. The full 90 minute film is archived, and 15 minutes of highlights are available below.
