Description
Capers is a one-woman show based on the stories of families at the Arthur Capper/Carrollsburg public housing projects - also known as 'Capers - in southeast DC who protested the government-funded relocation and demolition of their neighborhood. This performance was recorded at Facilities Leadership in Youth facilities.
The performance by Anu Yadav was followed by a public forum on public housing, relocation, and gentrification. The sound quality is poor, especially during the performance, but is audible at high volume.
The archive includes several folders of still images from the performance and community forum.
