Description
A panel of Humanities Scholars including Leasa Ferrar Fortune, Cathryn Harding, Ori Z. Soltes, with choreographer Liz Lerman, discuss Lerman's Shehechianu project. Shehechianu is a Jewish blessing spoken at special occasions, and the Dance project was meant to represent how humankind can learn from its good and bad collective culture rather than ignore it or become mired in it. The discussion, moderated by Dennis Wholey, was held at the Lansburgh Theater on June 22, 1997, in Washington, DC.
