Roger Polhemus was born on November 14, 1926, and served in the United States Army for 20 years attaining the rank of Sergeant 1st Class. On October 5, 2014, at a Your DC Digital Museum event held at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington, DC, Polhemus contributed several historic artifacts to the DC Digital Museum collection including this brief oral history interview.

Polhemus discusses his family history, his time in the service, and the photographs he contributed to the collection.
