The Neighborhood Farm Initiative interviewed members of Washington, DC's growing urban agriculture community to document the history of growing food in the city.

Croskey discusses her early life in North Carolina, where her family owned and operated a farm. When she was 16 or 17, she moved to Washington, DC with her brother.

Croskey uses all available space to grow vegetables around her building.
