The Neighborhood Farm Initiative interviewed members of Washington, DC's growing urban agriculture community to document the history of growing food in the city.
Yeomans was born in southern California, and moved to Washington, DC in 1997. He lived in Woodley Park and Dupont Circle before moving to an apartment directly across the street from Melvin Hazen Community Garden.
Yeomans discusses the changes he has seen in the city, the challenges of maintaining a plot in a community garden, and the wide variety of dishes that can be prepared with fresh produce.
